Domestic Abuse Training for Mental Health Professionals, Lisa Twerski, LCSW, Starts Dec. 3
Shalom Task Force is pleased to announce it will be offering an intensive ten-part training program for Mental Health Professionals beginning Thursday December 3, 2009.
The program will focus on specific needs of Jewish victims of domestic abuse and will include assessment, intervention, Halachic guidelines, and training on applicable legal issues.
There will be a total of ten sessions on Thursday afternoons from 1:30 – 3:30pm, at Manhattan Beach Jewish Center, 60 West End Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11235.
