Yes, the way that our workshop is structured, the couple must come together.
You need only to read some of the testimonials by participants and professionals to realize how beneficial it is. We help in turning a good relationship into a great one! Join the many happy couples who have said that we really made a difference.
The workshop is currently offered in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Great Neck and the Five Towns. Upcoming workshops are posted on this website. Additional workshops may be set up at other times and in other areas upon request.
The workshop is offered as a service to our community as part of the Shalom Task Force Healthy Marriage program. A minimal registration fee is required.
Since the program began in May 2007, the workshop has been attended by many hundreds of engaged men and women/ chassanim and kallahs. They come from many different segments of the Jewish community and range in age from 18 - 60. They are learning, in school, and/or working.
The workshops are given by highly qualified professionals who have been specifically and extensively trained to give this course.
The S.H.A.L.O.M. Workshop is an educational program designed for all engaged couples. It is not therapy. The goal is to teach helpful skills to aid in communication, gain greater self awareness and teach helpful hints on enhancing the relationship.

"I am absolutely thrilled to hear about the S.H.A.L.O.M. workshop for engaged couples. Traditionally, the Jewish family was a fortress of stability. In recent years, the number of failed marriages among Jews has risen to an alarming incidence. In many of these cases, young people were grossly unprepared for marriage, and were frustrated when their unrealistic fantasies failed to materialize.
